Start of the second week...

Two weeks almost up!

Work’s been less backbreaking and time’s been less cruel these days. I think i might be getting used to working at the airport.

But still! After a day’s break... its so hard to start working again =( Today’s work has been a little weird, there’s little crowd in terminal 3. Oh wells, perhaps its a weekday that’s why. Highlight of today is that i tried to converse in the most broken Japanese ever to a couple of Japanese..

Okane = money (pronounced as KA- NEH)

After gesturing to their waiste pouch and doing the money pose with their fingers, i guessed they needed the money changer...

So i said, ‘KAANII CHANGER?’ and point point to the right

‘you wanna change KANNIII?’ i did the same money hand gesture. they nodded. Muahaha i feel so proud.

So i led them there myself, happy to walk them to the money changer and to slack away from my station.

And thats when i heard it.. the couple laughed behind me with the husband telling her wife in the most amused expression ‘KANIII CHANGER EH?’’

o.O. so embarrassing. All i could say is "wakarimassen japanese! Gomen nasai!" why they laugh at mee!! Nooos~~

Anyways, i found out from a friend on the way home that kani is actually crab in nihon-go(Japanese language). Great. At first i thought they were laughing cause ‘kani’ plus changer sounds funny. Now i know crab in Japanese plus changer in English is even more ridiculous. -_--‘’ whoever heard of crab changers..zzz

Oh yeah! And i got my first tips working at the airport! Woohoo. But im not supposed to keep tips. Its against the rules. But i really dunno how to reject the German lady!! Oh nos!Im going to get into trouble if anyone finds out. Anyways its aussie 10 dollars. Wow..come to think of it, its even more than 1 hour of work just like that. Hehehe!

All in all,I still cant really decide if i like work anot..

On one hand...

• Ive made lots of new friends and met nice people

• Get to flirt around! Woohoo! Look at handsome men..ugly men..weird men...tall men... drunk men... Indian men...all kinds of men!

• Like the slack patrols and gossiping sessions

• Meeting different people from all over the world and being able to be of help! Thats a really cool feeling. =)

• TAKE PICTURE WITH THE REALLY REAL FIFA WORLD CUP! (BEHOLD; BEWARE; BE – JEALOUS!) CAN SEE THE GLOW ANOT! ITS AN AURA!
  

On the other...

• You may get deployed to BORING areas for 6 hours! Oh no!

• Have to tolerate nagging aunties plus tolerate Damien’s(agent) ‘qian zou ‘face

• Slow passing times which is usually passenger-less times..

• Unattractively Low paid rates

I really have to think about resigning this job after a month seriously.. i mean.. could an office job really be any better off this job?Maybe?

Oh oh! And i saw a nice jacket and a top at the shops! Rah! But so expensive even with staff discount =( Pss shit! When are we going shopping? This Friday?! I need advise against compulsive shopping!

Wa! Its like 4 in the morning. Zzz. My sleeping time is seriously screwed. Gotta sleep! Nights!
