Can all the aunties please shut up?

Everyone’s making a big fuss out of my new job. I wish everyone will just let me be when i finally come home from work. Please everyone, don’t be such a bugger.

Have i mentioned about uh mah and Irene? They are the naggy buggy bosses seriously. On my first day, we only managed to get on our mini vans(transportation that would be sending us home) at 1 o clock. And so i messaged Irene since she asked me to. But apparently, when i got home Irene told me that uh mah wanted to go down and wait for me at the staircase there since 1230 even before i messaged Irene. Well, not just that. After Irene told her im still at work, she wanted to go down at 1 15 am and armed with an UMBRELLA SOMEMORE. No no don’t get me wrong. Its not raining. Irene said uh mah wanted to beat baddies. Just in case. WHAT THE HECK.

Luckily i did not have to witness that. Irene somehow managed to persuade her not to go down so all i saw was the main door wide open and uhmah in her jacket sitting there waiting for me to get home.( I think Irene was spying at me from the kitchen while uh mah sat there..)

Yesterday was as embarrassing as the first day. I got home at about 1 30am..and to my relieve, no ones guarding the door while they should be sleeping. Sort of.. because while i was eating a toasted bread at 2 00am in the morning, Irene called me and asked me where am i? 0_0

‘ i am in my room lah..’

‘Huh! She is at home already!’ Irene whispered to someone in the background in teochew.

So... they are not at home.. no wonder the house is so peaceful.

When the two old woman finally came back up.. They said they went to exercise.

Zzzz. Ya right. But thats not all to it. Apparently uhmah shouted ‘OIII!’ to a stranger she thought was me while she was sitting downstairs. Embarrassed, Irene have to bring her to sit at another quieter place where they can be hidden.. Or rather somewhere Irene can hide uh mah so she wouldn’t ‘OII!’ another stranger again.

Like i said, lucky i didn’t have to witness that.

The bugging don’t stop there, they bug at how am i going to have my dinner, at what time i should leave house so i won’t be late, at my pants, my shoes, my pay..... (Endless nagging...)

OH! AND THERE IS EXTRA nag to be had when i go to work as well.. The aunties there will complain and i really complain about everything to everyone. So much so i think ill puke if i hear anyone complain about work (myself included). The army of complaining aunties at work really... really...leaves me speechless.

I cant wait for my first off day.

Yesterday was the fourth day of this job and already i see half the attendance unsigned. I am going to preserve for a month and then ill quit.

Quitting makes me sound bad. Like im a quitter.

Lim shu li is no quitter!! Let’s just put it as resigning. It sounds better. A little.. 0_0

But im glad that i learnt much from this experience anyways. At the end 1 month, i shall walk away smarter and proud that i have survived! Woohoo.
