Bad hair and coffee

Good morning darlings, and all the lovely people of DUASHI.

First of all, ah yuan is not spending his Christmas in tekong anymore. YAY!! Got down pes-ed due to shin splints that doesn't seem to recover. Hehe. Kinda like a blessing in disguise. Or was it the result of Oh. GuaHu's spell-casting? 0.o

Yesterday, ah yuan went to Cathay to watch Enchanted with an old friend. We're supposed to meet at 5:15pm but somehow, overslept, had a bad hair day and drenched by the wicked storm that's trying to stop me from going out. Rawrr!! In the end i reached there at about 5:50pm. So i thot my friend's gonna be early since his final year project's presentation ended at 4plus and was feeling guilty about letting him wait. In the end he reached at 6:10pm due to the commute =.=

Anyway, the show's at 7, so doesn't really matter. Ah yuan had a mocha praline frapp from our all-time favourite Starbucks. Gosh, i couldn't believe that the price went up to $7.90 for venti. The price seems to be increasing every now and then, but dun feel like there's improvement in taste and quality. Seriously, ah yuan couldn't taste the praline and the blend wasn't very smooth. Plus the the fudge seems too thick to dissolve despite furious attempts to blend it with the feeble straw. Rating :2/5

Think i shall visit Starbucks less often and stick to tazo cha latte from Coffee Bean (:
Ah yuan recommends TCC too.

Okay, back to the tale. Well Cathay's condition seems to have deteriorated. The seats are kinda shaky and we spotted leftover hotdog trays on the seats in front of us. Atrocious!! Kinda disappointing 'cause ah yuan always had quite a good impression for Cathay. Maybe it's just that particular theatre. Vivo's still one of the best place for movies. Plaza Sing ain't too bad 'cept for the huge crowd.

Enchanted's a nice flick. Dun worry, there's no spoilers ahead. Although it's a Disney flick, it provokes your thoughts on certain issues, which is rather interesting. The story's fairytale-like so audience can expect the and-so-they-live-happily-ever-after ending, with love overcoming all odds. But watch out for the twist hehe. It's a hilarious yet insightful movie with nice music.
Before ah yuan is tempted into spilling out the entire plot of the flick, he recommends you good ol' people of DUASHI daily to go catch it before it's gone. Else, go rent the movie and watch it with your friends at home. Dun miss it. Everyone loves a fairytale come true (:
Rating: 4/5

Time to go get breakfast.

Have a nice and gossipy day (:

Here's a nice vid. Guess what, it's the teletubbies!! And they're dancing to mandopop?!
