What a peaceful night. Almost a silent night. With me complete with hot green tea ( to burn out all the foods i chugged in for the past 2 days) ;cranberry essence filling the room with Christmas-y scent and mellow Christmas songs fleeting in the air..
Well an hour ago it wasn’t exactly like this. In fact it was exactly opposite of this. Because my family had a part-ttayy!! Woohoo! Fried bee hoon..fish balls ;meat balls; sotong balls; all kinds of food balls...~ i love dodo! Shiok shiok! =D opps sorry. Right.. all kinds of foods..all kinds of balls. And one big heap of presents! Yum! Opps! I was so excited about picking out those with my names and fighting to help chan pick out those with his names that i forgot to take a picture. RAH!
Rich pickings of the day:
- One bodyshop scent set complete with the burner pot thingie..candles and cranberry essence! (mmm.. my favourite smell)
- A thermo flask
- A hundred dollars cash!woohoo!!!
- Another freaskishly identical burner pot thingie i mentioned. Omg.. What are the chances of my cousin and my aunt getting the exact same burner pot thingie. Jinxed. When my cousin saw me unwrapped Irene’s present and saw the burner pot thingie he shrieked like a banshee. Haha. Hilarious!
- The Chan’s family hamper which i traded it with the Hougang family hamper! Lol!
- And last but not least... the fugliest Christmas handmade card ive ever seen. Kindergarden-ish. Complete with bad colouring skills..Glitter and coloured ice cream sticks. That handicraft is no doubt my favourite of the Christmas pickings.

Jinxed pot burner thing! I gave chan the extra one of those to put in this smelly room so it can smell as nice as mine when i go over! Whee~

You know, i just realised i have a tiny proud collection of cards from chan now ever since my birthday two years ago. And i have to say the cards get uglier each time. =D thanks babe! And i love each one more each time.
These cards and love letters really do play an important role in a relationship. Because sometimes in a relationship, we forget. In times of a heated argument, we forget why we love each other. In times of a fit of anger, we may even dislike our partners. In times when irrational thoughts block our rationality, we forget how precious love is. And that’s ok because once in a while we need some reminder of our love. And well, what better reminders than these ugly little cards which your partner painstakingly made to look fugly throughout the years? That applies to everyone in a relationship. And of course the reporters of Duashi in time to come either sooner or later. Well, sooner the better guys!
